I am finally making a quilt for our bed, yep-this one is staying on my bed! I'm so excited. I am using
this great pattern and using Denyse Schmidt's Flea Market Fancy (My favorite line). It's been hanging on my wall for about a week and I keep peeking in on it every day and pieces are moved frequently-I just need to find the time to actually piece it!
Look at that awesome quilt wall-That was my early Christmas present from my Hubs-he kinda likes me! It is super helpful, especially with a quilt this big (96x96 finished).
Grandma Wiley was a amazing quilter, and I got my little hands on one of her quilt tops that never had a chance to become a quilt-until now. Roberta and I went shopping for backing and batting when she visited, so all that i have to do now is tie the quilt and bind it up! I basted it this afternoon, and hopefully I can get it all hand tied by the end of the month.
